With over a decade of experience, Brady is known for his unique and unconventional strategies in litigation designed to best serve his clients goals.
Brady practiced at a mid-sized boutique oil and gas firm in Oklahoma City representing both plaintiffs and defendants for 9 years after graduating law school. He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney.
Brady and his family own a mineral and non-operating company, as well as a saltwater disposal in Western Oklahoma. This has provided him the unique opportunity to evaluate issues from not only a lawyer’s perspective, but from a business and practical standpoint. Brady practices complex oil and gas litigation, focusing on oil and gas leases, contractual disputes, and a variety of tort claims and product liability claims related to oil and gas operations. Brady also practices general civil litigation.
Brady is licensed to practice in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Wyoming, as well as all Oklahoma federal district courts and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Brady has been named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2017-2023. Brady is a member of the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen, as well as the Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Society. He is a native of Leedey, Oklahoma and holds a BS in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma. Brady attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he was a member of Law Review and graduated Cum Laude.
Brady’s trial experience includes multiple trials with favorable verdicts for his clients:
- Co-lead counsel in a federal lawsuit wherein he won a $6,000,000 jury verdict for his client—a verdict ultimately upheld by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Husky Ventures, Inc. v. B55 investments, Ltd., et al., 911 F.3d 1000 (10th Cir. 2018).
- In a case of first impression, successfully defended against a party seeking to terminate an oil and gas lease. Lawson v. Citizen Energy II, LLC, 2021 OK CIV APP 1; 481 P.3d 287
- Lead counsel for mineral owners in dozens of cases both Oklahoma and New Mexico terminating leases for failure to produce in paying quantities, resulting in millions of dollars in new lease bonuses to his clients.
- Lead or Co-class counsel in multiple royalty underpayment class actions across multiple states.
- Co-lead counsel in an oilfield products liability case resulting in a settlement of over $3 Million.
Skeeter Jordan
Senior associate
Skeeter has experience assisting clients with a variety of matters in a variety of legal
practice areas. Prior to joining Brady Smith Law, Skeeter Jordan worked at Crowe &
Dunlevy. While at Crowe & Dunlevy, Skeeter’s practice was focused on representing oil
and gas companies in a variety of matters, with his primary focus on representing oil
and gas producers with disputes regarding royalty payments and assisting midstream
companies with the acquisition of right of ways and easements through both negotiation
and condemnation. Skeeter’s current practice involves representing clients on a variety
of matters in a variety of different practice areas of law, with a primary focus on
assisting entities and individuals with matters relating to oil and gas.
Skeeter graduated with his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of
Law. During law school, Skeeter was on the Dean’s List, a member of Phi Delta Phi
Legal Honor Society, served as special projects editor for the American Indian Law
Review and as treasurer for the Intellectual Property Society. Additionally, Skeeter
earned several honors while in law school, including the American Jurisprudence Award
in Legal Research and Writing I. Skeeter was also an award winner in the school’s
Negotiation Competition, a 2015 American Bar Association Regional Mediation
Competition champion, and a 2015 American Bar Association National Mediation
Competition champion.
Skeeter has been recognized as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Energy Law and Oil
and Gas Law in both 2022 and 2023.
Skeeter, his wife, Abbie, their children, Jeremy, Jacob, and Eva live on acreage outside
of Oklahoma City. They enjoy maintaining the property, caring for the
cattle and pets, fishing, snow skiing, and being outdoors.
Chelsea Celsor Smith

Chelsea Celsor Smith has experience in civil litigation in both state and federal court. Her areas of emphasis include governmental ethics, constitutional law, administrative law, employment law, and pharmaceutical consulting. She formerly served as General Counsel for the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Prior to forming Celsor Smith Consulting, Chelsea served as Director of Legal for an oncology pharmaceutical company. She provides advice and training and has been a speaker regarding compliance with employment and ethics law. Chelsea has experience in employment and healthcare fraud issues and provides consulting services to a variety of pharma/biotech entities, agencies, and businesses, including contract General Counsel for Oklahoma Public Employees Association and M Wright Services, LLC.
Chelsea has been recognized as Best Lawyers: One to Watch in Labor and Employment Law-Employee; Labor and Employment Law, Litigation-Labor, and Employment Law. Chelsea owns and manages an oilfield disposal business with her family in Western Oklahoma.
Allison Christian

Allison joins Brady Smith Law from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma, where she gained federal jury trial experience and argued at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Allison managed her own caseload, including immigration, white-collar, Indian Country, and Project Safe Childhood cases. She also worked as an associate at McAfee & Taft and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Timothy D. DeGiusti.
Additionally, Allison is actively involved in business and real estate investing, including rentals, Airbnbs, flips, and remodels. She is a licensed realtor and owns real estate companies related to investing and management. Allison also works with a homebuilder, where she is involved in developing multifamily properties in the Oklahoma City metro area.
Allison holds a J.D. with Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She was involved in various activities and honors, including serving as the Executive Editor of the American Indian Law Review and participating on the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Team.
Allison also has a background in policy; she interned in Washington, D.C., for United States Senator James Lankford. She also worked with the Oklahoma Legislature while in college, serving as an intern for the Secretary of Energy and Environment and as the OSU Legislative Intern in Agriculture.
Allison holds a B.S., magna cum laude, with a Major in Animal Science and a Minor in Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University, where she was recognized as an Outstanding Senior.
Allison grew up on a cattle ranch in Duncan, Oklahoma, which instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for agriculture. She also served as a state FFA officer, further solidifying her dedication to agriculture and leadership.
With her unique blend of skills, experiences, and upbringing, Allison brings a valuable perspective to her work, whether in law, real estate, or business.
